&lt;p&gt;Approved change order No 1 to contract 11-16-D, 144 count long span fiber optic cable. The total amount of fiber cable shipped exceeded the amount specified but did not exceed the allowable 3% per reel. This change order reflects the intention to pay for the total amount of fiber cable received under the conditions of the bid document. &amp;nbsp;This change order will increase the not to exceed limit $4,931.93 bringing the total not to exceed limit to $255,032.93. (12-071)&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Authorized acceptance of work and final payment to HD Supply Utilities, Ltd. under contract 11-16-D, furnish 144 count long span ADSS fiber optic cable. &amp;nbsp;All work under the contract has been completed and determined to meet the bid specifications. (12-072)&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Approved agreement with Wenatchee Reclamation District for a canal crossing near Rock Island Road. Necessary for the District to install electrical and fiber facilities in an existing underground crossing. (12-073)&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Declared certain Douglas PUD items of property as surplus and authorized the sale of those materials by auction. Items range from vehicles, computers and accessories to a lathe and air compressor. The sale, handled by Booker Auction Co. Northwest, is scheduled for Saturday, June 9 at the Chelan County Fairgrounds in Cashmere. &amp;nbsp;(12-074)&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Awarded Reeves Lawn and Spray Service LLC contract 12-02-W, 2012-2013 grounds maintenance. With a bid price of $198,569, Reeves Lawn and Spray Service was the lowest responsive bidder. (12-075)&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Authorized professional service agreement with Tetra Tech, Inc. under contract 11-24-W, Wells Hydroelectric Project aerial mapping project. (12-076)&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Approved agreement for professional services agreement with Anchor QEA, LLC for &amp;nbsp;HCP Coordinating and Hatchery Committees Chairman.&amp;nbsp; This three year agreement is not to exceed $300,000. (12-077)&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Authorized Memorandum of Agreement with enXco Development Corporation regarding pumped storage site evaluation. enXco Development Corporation is in the process of identifying potential pumped storage sites and would like to include Douglas County sites in their studies. This Memorandum of Understanding outlines the terms and conditions for the District and enXco to cooperate to evaluate and identify a potentially viable site or sites for pumped storage development in Douglas County.&amp;nbsp; (12-078)&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Authorized Northwest Power Pool Budget for fiscal year 2012-2013. Douglas PUD’s share of the 2012-2013 budget is $87,175. (12-079)&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Authorized change order No. 1 to contract 11-20-D, furnish tubular steel structures for Douglas to Rapids 230 kV Transmission Line. &amp;nbsp;Changes include redesigning six structures to fit within easement footprint. &lt;p&gt;Awarded Titan Truck Equipment, of Spokane, contract 12-05-D, supply and deliver one small single-bucket truck. &amp;nbsp;With a bid price of $109,860, Titan Truck was the lowest responsive bidder. (12-065)&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Approved execution of an interlocal cooperative agreement for Eastmont extension mainline, CRP 924 with Douglas County. This agreement will coordinate the placement of conduit, cable and vaults in Douglas County’s road project.(12-066)&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Authorized acceptance of engagement letter with GRC LLP. (12-067)&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Approved acceptance of engagement letter with Nixon Peabody LLP. (12-068)&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Authorized adjustments to certain technical, professional and administrative salaries. The adjustments are consistent with the 2.7% change CPI-U from March 2011 to March 2012 as well as responsibility changes, job growth, and performance.&amp;nbsp; These adjustments amount to an annual budget impact of $108,372 (0.18% of the $60 million Distribution System expenditure budget) for employees assigned to the Distribution System and $113,940 (0.21% of the $53 million Wells Project expenditure budget) for employees assigned to the Wells Project. The current budgets include an estimate for salary adjustments. &amp;nbsp;(12-069)&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Authorized a land use permit 1143 with The Confederated Tribes of the Colville Reservation. This permit will allow restoration and armoring of 45 feet of shoreline and an access road for offloading salmon collected for research brood stock and subsistence on District property. &lt;p&gt;Approved release of money accrued in the Wells Hydroelectric Project Relicensing Fund. The relicensing process is approaching completion. Current financial estimates indicate at least $2.9 million in the fund is excess to the needs of the relicensing process which would be beneficial to the Electric Distribution System. &lt;p&gt;Approved closing contract 09-03-D, plow installation of underground primary cable and conduit. No work was requested of the contractor in 2011. (12-038)&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Authorized amendment No. 2 to professional service agreement with SSP Innovations under contract 11-01-D, provide, install, configure, and implement an integrated software package that will support the mapping and Geographical Information Systems (GIS) needs of the District. &amp;nbsp;This amendment will allow the software to track cable tags for safety and regulation. This amendment will increase the contract $38,840 bringing the total amount of the agreement to $620,780. (12-039)&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Awarded Cascade Cable Constructors, Inc. contract 12-04-D, plow installation of underground cable or conduit. Cascade Cable Constructors was the lowest responsive bidder. (12-040)&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Awarded Assistant Manager and Wells Project Chief Engineer Ken Pflueger, with his twenty-five year service award. Commissioner Skagen thanked Ken on behalf of the citizens of Douglas County for his many years of service. Ken thanked the Commission and said “It has been quite the 25 years.&amp;nbsp; I’m happy to be here and contribute to the success of Douglas PUD.”&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Awarded Power Planning and Contracts Administrator Chuck Wagers, with his twenty-five year service award. Commissioner Skagen thanked Chuck on behalf of the citizens of Douglas County for his many years of service. Chuck thanked the Commission and said he appreciates all those who came before him and brought us to where we are today. “I’ve done the best I can.”&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Authorized retirement and disposal of District postage machine and desktop mailer. These items were traded in for credit toward the purchase price of a new postage machine.(12-025)&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Approved retirement and disposal of obsolete office furniture and equipment. These items are non-usable, of no value, and unsuitable for sale at a surplus auction. (12-026)&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Authorized retirement of unlocated inventory items. Most of the items were purchased prior to the 1990s with a number of items dating back to the 1950s and 1960s. (12-027)&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Approved execution of Land Use Agreement number 20110562 with the Bonneville Power Administration. Necessary for the Douglas-Rapids 230 kV&amp;nbsp;transmission corridor. (12-028)&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Authorized purchase of an easement from Margaret Noreen Daling.&amp;nbsp; Necessary for the Douglas-Rapids 230 kV&amp;nbsp;transmission corridor. (12-029)&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Approved purchase of an easement from Clark Bromiley, Douglas Bromiley, Michael Bromiley and Bromiley Brothers.&amp;nbsp; Necessary for the Douglas-Rapids 230 kV&amp;nbsp;transmission corridor. (12-030)&lt;/p&gt;
