Douglas County PUD Commissioners Lynn Heminger, Ron Skagen and Jim Davis executed the following actions during the April 1, 2013 Commission meeting held at the District’s East Wenatchee Headquarters office:
Authorized acceptance of work and final payment to Wesco under contract 12-26-D, supply and deliver #2 and 1/0 EPR primary underground cable. All work under the contract has been completed and determined to meet the bid specifications. (13-050)
Approved a call for bids under bid document 13-10-D, supply and deliver three 2500 kVA padmount transformers to resupply inventory. (13-051)
Authorized a call for bids under bid document 13-11-D, provide distribution dock crew services. Necessary to assist District crews with electrical and communication projects. (13-052)
Approved acceptance and final payment to Irrigation Technology and Control under contract 06-42-W, 2007-2008 hatchery well and pump maintenance for the Wells Hydroelectric Project. All work under the contract has been completed and determined to meet the bid specifications. (13-053)
Authorized an interlocal cooperative agreement with PUD No. 2 of Grant County to fund a proportional share of the modernization of the Wells Fish Hatchery and share the future costs related to the operation of the hatchery. This agreement will allow Grant to use excess rearing capacity at the Wells Hatchery sufficient to rear up to 110,000 steelhead smolts. (13-054)
Changed meeting time of Commission meetings to 1:30 p.m.
Canceled the April 15, May 20 and June 17 Commission meetings.
Rescheduled the May 27 Commission meeting to May 28 due to the Memorial Day Holiday. It will be held at 1:30 in the East Wenatchee Headquarters office.
The next meeting of the Commission is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. April 8, 2013 at the District’s Bridgeport office.
