Douglas County PUD Commissioners Lynn Heminger, Ron Skagen and Jim Davis executed the following actions during the February 4, 2013 Commission meeting held at the District’s East Wenatchee Headquarters office:
Opened bids under bid document 13-04-D, supply and deliver 4/0 EPR primary underground cable. The apparent low bid of $295,5778.80 was submitted by Resitech Industries of Duluth, GA. The bids will be analyzed by staff prior to the District awarding a contract.
Approved a change in the District’s travel reimbursement policy (Administrative Bulletin 5.13) to reflect changes in the Internal Revenue Service approved mileage rate for 2013. (13-018)
Authorized an interlocal cooperative agreement for Eastmont Avenue reconstruction with the City of East Wenatchee. This agreement will coordinate utility work in the City of East Wenatchee’s road project bid package. (13-019)
Approved a professional service agreement with the Colville Confederated Tribes for 2013 Archaeological Monitoring for the Wells Hydroelectric Project. The Historic Properties Management Plan requires annual archaeological monitoring at forty high priority archaeological sites for a period of five years. This agreement shall not exceed $48,916 and will conclude December 31, 2013. (13-020)
Authorized amendment of the Northwest Power Pool’s general services agreement individual work order for the Market Assessment and Coordination Initiative. This amendment will increase the District’s funding commitment $5,000 for a total of $17,500. (13-021)
The next meeting of the Commission is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. February 11, 2013 at the District’s Bridgeport office.
