Douglas PUD Commission Meeting Report

Douglas County PUD Commissioners Lynn Heminger, Ron Skagen and Jim Davis executed the following actions during the January 21, 2013 Commission meeting held at the District’s East Wenatchee Headquarters office:

Authorized amendment No. 4 to Professional Service Agreement with Commonwealth Associates, Inc. under RFQ 10-13-D, consulting engineering services for Douglas-Rapids 230 kV Transmission Line Project. This agreement allows for the rate schedule to be adjusted annually to reflect any increase in the cost of doing business. There is no increase in the not to exceed amount of $ 2,465,376. (13-009)

Approved amendment No. 1 to the District’s Video Transport Agreement with HDNet LLC. This amendment will extend the agreement until December 31, 2017 and acknowledge rebranding service as AXS TV. (13-010)

Authorized amendment No. 1 to professional service agreement with Okanagan Nation Alliance. This amendment will extend the contract two months to provide analysis of five years of monitoring the Okanagan River Restoration Initiative and a report on the findings of that analysis.  Increasing the not to exceed limit $7,000 to a total of $82,000. Approved a call for bids under bid document 13-05-W, supply and deliver one welded aluminum boat with motor and trailer. (13-012)

Authorized the City of Brewster 2012-2013 Operations and Maintenance budget for parks. The District’s portion is $63,156 and is required by the new Wells Project license.  (13-013)

Approved the City of Pateros 2012-2013 Operations and Maintenance budget for parks and a major maintenance item for Peninsula Park. The District’s portion is $78,156 and is required by the new Wells Project license. (13-014)

Authorized engagement letters with Cordell, Neher & Company for third party administration services for several District deferred compensation plans. (13-015)

The next meeting of the Commission is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. January 28, 2013 at the District’s East Wenatchee Headquarters office.
