Douglas County PUD Commissioners Ron Skagen, Jim Davis and Lynn Heminger executed the following actions during the October 29, 2012 Commission meeting held at the District’s East Wenatchee Headquarters office:
Opened bids under bid document 12-26-D, supply and deliver #2 1/0 and 4/0 EPR primary underground cable. The bids will be analyzed by staff prior to the District awarding a contract.
Authorized amendment No. 3 to professional service agreement with SSP Innovations under contract 11-01-D, provide, install, configure, and implement an integrated software package that will support the mapping and Geographical Information Systems (GIS) needs of the District. Customization to supply additional reporting is required. This amendment will increase the contract $16,325 bringing the total amount of the agreement to $637,105. (12-186)
Approved change order No. 2 to contract 12-13-D, construct Rapids Switchyard expansion. This will change the location of security lights to not interfere with the future phase of construction at a cost of $810 bringing the total not to exceed limit to $597,868. (12-187)
Authorized acceptance of work and final payment to Tucker Sno-Cat under contract 12-06-D, supply and deliver one snow cat with trailer. All work has been completed and determined to meet bid specifications. (12-188)
Approved a three-party agreement for supplemental environmental project in lieu of penalty. In lieu of payment to Ecology, Douglas PUD proposed to fund a Supplemental Environmental Project (SEP) to enhance the habitat for aquatic organisms within the Entiat River. (12-189)
Authorized purchase of property insurance coverage with Ace American Insurance Company and Liberty Insurance Company. (12-190)
