Douglas County PUD Commissioners Ron Skagen, Jim Davis and Lynn Heminger executed the following actions during the march 5, 2012 Commission meeting held at the District’s East Wenatchee Headquarters office:
Opened bids under bid document 12-04-D, plow installation of underground cable or conduit. The bids will be analyzed prior to an award recommendation.
Awarded General Manager Bill Dobbins, with his twenty-five year service award. Commissioner Davis thanked Bill on behalf of the citizens of Douglas County for his many years of dedicated service. Bill thanked the Commission for their support and stated he can’t take all of the credit for good results at Douglas PUD. "Many people are involved here. It is a team approach and I appreciate the opportunity to be part of it.”
Authorized a rate adjustment for the professional service agreement with Electrical Consultants, Inc. This agreement allows for the fee schedule to be negotiated annually to reflect any increase in the cost of doing business. (12-035)
Approved acceptance of work and final payment to Fire Control Sprinkler Systems Co. Inc. under contract 11-07-D, East Wenatchee warehouse fire sprinkler system replacement. All work under the contract has been completed and determined to meet the bid specifications. (12-036)
Approved a call for bids under bid document 12-02-W, 2012-2013 grounds maintenance. The District periodically needs to have certain scheduled and unscheduled grounds maintenance work performed at various District locations. (12-037)
Reminded those in attendance the March 12, 2012 Commission Meeting has been canceled.
The next meeting of the Commission is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. March 19, 2012 at the District’s East Wenatchee Headquarters office.
