Douglas County PUD Commissioners Ron Skagen, Jim Davis and Lynn Heminger executed the following actions during the January 9, 2012 Commission meeting held at the District’s Bridgeport office:
Approved a call for bids under bid document 12-01-D, supply and deliver one 230-115 kV, 200 MVA Autotransformer to Rapids Switchyard. (12-003)
Authorize IPTV Transport Rights Agreement with KXLY-TV. These agreements are required by most networks to receive and transport the signal over the Douglas County Community Network. (12-004)
Approved acceptance and final payment to Kingsbury Inc. under contract 09-17-W, thrust bearing load cell system for the first unit. All work has been completed and determined to meet bid specifications. (12-005)
Authorized acceptance and final payment to Triad Mechanical under contract 11-03-W, trash rake storage frame modifications for the Wells Hydroelectric Project. All work has been completed and determined to meet bid specifications. (12-006)
Approved signature of concurrence regarding the Programmatic Agreement for Compliance with Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act. (12-007)
Opened bids under bid document 11-20-D, furnish tubular steel structures for Douglas to Rapids 230 kV transmission line. The bids will be analyzed prior to an award recommendation.
The next meeting of the Commission is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. January 23, 2012 at the District’s East Wenatchee Headquarters office.
