Douglas County PUD Commissioners Ron Skagen, Jim Davis, and Lynn Heminger executed the following actions during the May16, 2011 Commission meeting held at the District’s East Wenatchee Headquarters office:
Authorized negotiations with SSP Innovations, LLC for GIS work management, line design/staking, fiber management software and support services under RFP 11-01-D. (11-061)
Authorized change order No. 2 to Task Order No. 4 and change order No. 1 to Task Order No. 6 under the Master Consulting Services Agreement with MWH Americas. Task Order No. 4 authorizes engineering administration, design review, construction management support and other services related to the Toshiba International Corporation contract to rebuild the generators and refurbish the turbines on Wells Hydroelectric Project generating Units 1 through 10. Change order No. 2 increases the not-to-exceed amount $1,300,000. The services in Task Order No. 6 include services of a resident engineer at the Wells Project and additional on-site construction management support as required during the course of contract 06-41-W. Change order No. 1 increases the not-to-exceed amount $550,000. These change orders were necessary to provide for continuing services by MWH. (11-062)
Authorized agreement for professional services with Biomark, Inc. regarding 2011 Sub-Yearling Chinook Life History Study for the Wells Hydroelectric Project. Biomark, Inc. will be responsible for PIT tagging 20,000 sub-yearling Chinook salmon at a cost not-to-exceed $136,596. (11-063)
Approved a Professional Service Agreement with the Confederated Tribes and Bands of the Yakama Nation to Conduct a Traditional Cultural Properties Study for the Douglas-Rapids Transmission Line Project. (11-064)
