Douglas County PUD Commissioners Jim Davis, Lynn Heminger and Ron Skagen executed the following actions during the March 7, 2011 Commission meeting held at the District’s East Wenatchee Headquarters office:
Approved addendum No. 1 to bid document 11-05-D, supply and deliver two 115-13.2 kV, 42MV A substation transformers to Pangborn Substation. This addendum clarifies items in the bid document.(11-027)
Authorized acceptance of work and final payment to Tunnel Hill Granite, Inc. for the first year of contract 09-23-W, 2010-2011 heavy equipment services for Wells Hydroelectric Project. All work under the contract has been completed and determined to meet the bid specifications. (11-028)
Approved amendment No. 1 to professional service agreement with the State of Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife. This will allow for completion of a pre-construction phase report on Avian Monitoring Studies for the Withrow Wind Project. (11-029)
Authorized execution of an amendment to the Northwest Power Pool Agreement creating a reserve sharing group committee. (11-030)
Authorized change order Nos. 23-30 to contract 06-41-W, generator rebuild for unit refurbishment for the Wells Hydroelectric Project. Changes include machining, coating, replacement, line-boring and refurbishment of various parts on the first unit. These change orders will increase the not to exceed limit $351,629 bringing the total not to exceed limit to $154,677,373. (11-031)
Authorized engagement letters with Cordell, Neher & Company for third party administration services for several District deferred compensation plans. (11-032)
The next meeting of the Commission is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. March 14, 2011 at the District’s Bridgeport office.
