Douglas County PUD Commissioners Jim Davis, Lynn Heminger and Ron Skagen executed the following actions during the November 15, 2010 Commission meeting held at the District’s East Wenatchee Headquarters office:
Awarded Administrative Assistant Jenny Scott, with her twenty-year service award. Commissioner Davis thanked Jenny on behalf of the citizens of Douglas County for her many years of dedication and service. Jenny thanked the Commission for making the PUD a great place to work.
Approved acceptance of work and final payment to Asplundh Tree Expert Co. under contract 08-14-D, distribution tree trimming. All work under the contract has been completed and determined to meet the bid specifications. (10-212)
Authorized acceptance of all work performed by T.J.E. L.L.C. under contract 08-32-D, traffic control flagging. All work under the contract has been completed and determined to meet the bid specifications. (10-213)
Authorized change order No. 22 to contract 06-41-W, generator rebuild and unit refurbishment for the Wells Hydroelectric Project. Changes include additional unanticipated work to discharge ring and modification of specifications for induction brazing on generator windings on the first unit. This change order will increase the not to exceed limit $128,369 bringing the total not to exceed limit to $154,325,744 and extends the completion date of the first unit outage 247 days. (10-1214)
Approved a call for bids under bid document 10-21-W, building maintenance for the East Wenatchee Headquarters facility. (10-215)
Authorized execution of perpetual easement for Wells Tract 1110 to Betty S. McKee Pursuant to RCW 54-16-220 (The Hallauer Act). (10-216)
Approved land use permit for Wells Tract 77 to Ed and Evie Pariseau. This permit will allow continued use of existing landscaping and dock on District property. (10-217)
