Douglas County PUD Commissioners Jim Davis, Lynn Heminger and Ron Skagen executed the following actions during the October 18, 2010 Commission meeting held at the District’s East Wenatchee Headquarters office:
Opened bids under bid document 10-19-W, vacuum pump modifications at Methow Spring Chinook Hatchery. The bids will be analyzed prior to an award recommendation.
Authorized acceptance and final payment of work from Moe Asphalt and Seal Coating under contract 08-29-D, asphalt installation and repair. All work under the contract has been completed and determined to meet the bid specifications. (10-193)
Approved change order No. 2 to contract 10-15-D, construct South Nile Substation expansion. The changes include wiring and drainage revisions, increasing the contract $6,062 for a total not to exceed limit of $481,362. (10-194)
Authorized assignment of Hatch Acres Professional Services Contract to Hatch Associates Consultants, Inc. The new entity is acquiring the assets and contracts of Hatch Acres. (10-195)
Approved change order No. 1 to contract 10-09-W, Public Utility District No. 1 of Douglas County park improvements 2010. The changes include additional conduit and wiring, undocumented utilities repairs, plumbing modifications and asphalt work. This change order will increase the contract $21,751 for a total not to exceed limit of $685,984 and add ten days to the contract time. (10-196)
Authorized a purchase and sale agreement for Wells Tract 66, with Rick and Wendy Witt. This property is adjacent to the Witt’s property and not necessary to the operation of the Wells Project. (10-197)
Reminded those in attendance the October 25, 2010 Commission Meeting has been canceled.
The next meeting of the Commission is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. November 1, 2010 at the District’s East Wenatchee Headquarters office.
