Douglas County PUD Commissioners Jim Davis, Lynn Heminger and Ron Skagen executed the following actions during the September 27, 2010 Commission meeting held at the District’s East Wenatchee Headquarters office:
Approved change order No. 1 to contract 10-15-D, construct South Nile Substation expansion. The change includes welding error correction, increasing the contract $300 for a total not to exceed limit of $475,300. (10-174)
Authorized change order No. 3 to contract 09-27-D, Bridgeport Office Improvements. Changes include structural modifications for exhaust fans, HVAC revisions and upgraded wiring. The changes will increase the contract $5,395 for a total not to exceed limit of $232,916.(10-175)
Approved amendment No. 1 to the professional Service Agreement with Erlandsen & Associates, Inc. This amendment adds a rate schedule for 3-D scanning equipment services. (10-176)
Authorized professional services agreement with Columbia Research under RFP 10-17-W, bird hazing at the Wells fish hatchery and Wells Dam. The purpose of this agreement is to protect salmon and steelhead from fish-eating birds. The cost of this agreement is not to exceed $73,900. (10-177)
Authorized public records data access, disclosure and use agreement with Douglas County. This agreement allows Douglas PUD personnel to research current ownership of properties and location of easements in the County Auditor and Assessor database. The cost of accessing this information is not to exceed $1,000 per year. (10-178)
Rejected bid received under bid document 10-18-W, PBX upgrade. The bid exceeded the engineer’s estimate by more than the amount allowable under state law. (10-179)
