Douglas County PUD Commissioners Jim Davis, Lynn Heminger and Ron Skagen executed the following actions during the April 5, 2010 Commission meeting held at the District’s East Wenatchee Headquarters office:
Opened bids under bid document 10-01-D, supply the District with 1250 EPR underground cable. The bids will be analyzed prior to an award recommendation.
Approved acceptance and final payment of work from Hawkeye Construction, Inc. under contract 07-09-D, distribution dock crew. All work under the contract has been completed and determined to meet the bid specifications. (10-064)
Authorized acceptance of work and materials received from Pipkin Construction, under contract 09-22-D, foundation and curbing work for Foster Creek Substation. All work under the contract has been completed and determined to meet the bid specifications. (10-065)
Approved acceptance and final payment of work from Tunnel Hill Granite, Inc. under contract 07-39-W, 2008-09 heavy equipment services for the Wells Hydroelectric Project. All work under the contract has been completed and determined to meet the bid specifications. (10-066)
Authorized amendment No. 1 to agreement for professional services with Erlandsen and Associates, Inc. Necessary to accommodate engineering and design services as needed for completion of the 2007 Recreation Action Plan. This amendment will increase the not to exceed limit $450,000 for a total not to exceed limit of $1,100,000. (10-067)
Declared items surplus and authorized transfer of items to Foster Creek Conservation District. Due to revisions in work areas, some office furniture is surplus to District needs and is of no value at auction. (10-068)
Authorized disposal of obsolete items. These items are either damaged beyond repair or to a point it would cost more to repair than the replacement cost. (10-069)
Changed the time and location of the April 12, 2010 Commission Meeting. The meeting will be held at 2 p.m. in East Wenatchee.
The next meeting of the Commission is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. April 12, 2010 at the District’s East Wenatchee Headquarters office.
