Douglas County PUD Commissioners Jim Davis, Lynn Heminger and Ron Skagen executed the following actions during the February 8, 2010 Commission meeting held at the Bridgeport City Hall:
Approved an agreement with Douglas County for the modification of transmission lines. Necessary for the extension of Eastmont Avenue, Douglas County will reimburse the District for the necessary modifications. (10-020)
Authorized an agreement for use of Wells Project and hatchery facilities for Chelan PUD’s Chinook and steelhead programs. Washington State Department of Fish and Wildlife performs the work necessary for these programs. (10-021)
Approved change order No. 1 to contract 09-02-W, Warehouse Fire Line Extension for Wells Hydroelectric Project. Design errors and omissions were identified that required changes. This change order will increase the not to exceed limit $13,957 bringing the total not to exceed limit to $173,957. (10-022)
Authorized wind testing and least option agreement with Phillip Nollmeyer, ROMAL LLC, Etta Lillquist and James Nollmeyer covering 313 acres. (10-023)
Approved execution of a settlement agreement with the Western Electricity Coordinating Council. This settlement resolves a disagreement over fines related to a 2008 WECC audit. (10-024)
Reminded those in attendance the February 15, 2010 Commission Meeting has been rescheduled to February 16, 2010 due to the forthcoming President’s Day Holiday. That meeting will be held at 2:00 p.m. in the East Wenatchee Headquarters Building.
Also, the regular meeting scheduled for February 22, 2010 has been canceled due to other Commissioner commitments.
The next meeting of the Commission is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. February 16, 2010 at the District’s East Wenatchee Headquarters office.
