Douglas County PUD Commissioners Jim Davis, Lynn Heminger and Ron Skagen executed the following actions during the August 17, 2009 Commission meeting held at the East Wenatchee Headquarters office:
Authorized the acceptance of work and final payment to Moe Asphalt and Sealcoating, Inc. for the first year under contract 08-29-D, asphalt installation and repair. All work under the contract has been completed and determined to meet the bid specifications. (09-178)
Approved acceptance and final payment under contract 08-33-D, exterior improvements to Bridgeport Office Building. All work under the contract has been completed and determined to meet the bid specifications. (09-179
Authorized acceptance and final payment under contract 08-48-D, 13th Street storage yard. All work under the contract has been completed and determined to meet the bid specifications. (09-180)
Authorized change order No. 5 to Contract 08-46-W, Headquarters Building Interiors 2008. This change includes cable tray system and revisions in the electrical system at a cost of $9,807.37 and brings the total for the contract to $574,769. (09-181)
Approves bond in lieu of retainage for Contract 09-14-W, fish turbine intake gate rehabilitation for the Wells Hydroelectric as allowed by RCW 60.28.011(6). (09-182)
Authorized land use permit 90B-01. This permit will allow installation of a community dock and mitigation plantings on District property. (09-183)
The next meeting of the Commission is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. August 24, 2009 at the District’s East Wenatchee Headquarters office.
