Douglas County PUD Commissioners Jim Davis and Lynn Heminger executed the following actions during the August 10, 2009 Commission meeting held at the District’s Bridgeport office:
Authorized acceptance of all work performed by T.J.E. L.L.C. for the first year of contract 08-32-D, traffic control flagging. All work under the contract has been completed and determined to meet the bid specifications. (09-172)
Approved acceptance of equipment received from Central Machinery Sales Inc. under contract 09-05-D, 4x4 backhoe and trailer. All work under the contract has been completed and determined to meet the bid specifications. (09-173)
Authorized selection of Harris Northstar to provide the District with a new Customer Information System and authorized negotiation of a purchase and installation agreement. (09-174)
Approved execution of agreement for professional services with Sigma Six Solutions, Inc. for Rapids Switchyard Commissioning. This consultant will provide on-site management in addition to testing all substations equipment, verifying connections and preparing organized and well maintained testing documentation. (09-175)
Authorized request for qualifications regarding professional real estate appraisal services. (09-176)
Approved agreement for professional services with LGL Limited for 2009 Adult Pacific Lamprey Telemetry Study. The cost of the proposed study is not to exceed $112,950. (09-177)
The next meeting of the Commission is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. August 17, 2009 at the District’s East Wenatchee Headquarters office.
