Douglas County PUD Commissioners Jim Davis, Lynn Heminger and Ron Skagen executed the following actions during the March 30, 2009 Commission meeting held at the East Wenatchee Headquarters office:
Opened Bids received for Bid Document 09-06-D – 4X4 55-foot Material Handling Bucket Truck. The apparent low bid was received from Altec Industries, Inc. of Dixon, CA in the amount of $241,663. The bids will be evaluated prior to award recommendation.
Opened Bids received for Bid Document 09-10-D – EPR Underground Primary Cable. The apparent low bid was received from WESCO Distribution, Inc. of Portland, OR in the amount of $176,607. The bids will be evaluated prior to award recommendation.
Authorized a call for bids under Bid Document 09-07-D – One 2009 6X6 Digger Derrick Line Truck as called for in the District’s 2009 Distribution System budget. (09-77)
Authorized Request for Proposals 09-13-D – Customer Information System Replacement as called for in the District’s 2009 Distribution System budget. (09-78)
Authorized a call for bids under Bid Document 09-02-W – Warehouse Fire Line Extension for the Wells Project warehouse and fabrication shop. This work is needed to complete the fire protection system for this new facility. (09-79)
Authorized a call for bids under Bid Document 09-14-W – Fish Turbine Intake Gate Rehabilitation. The wheels, axles, bushings and seal parts on the gates are worn out and require replacement. (09-80)
Authorized resolutions recognizing support from Senators Murray and Cantwell and Representative Hastings on the District’s long-term effort to obtain congressional permission to purchase certain Bureau of Land Management lands associated with the Wells Project. (09-81, 09-82, 09-83)
The next meeting of the Commission is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. April 6, 2009 at the District’s East Wenatchee office.
