Douglas County PUD Commissioners Lynn Heminger, Ron Skagen and Jim Davis executed the following actions during the September 8, 2008 Commission meeting held at the Bridgeport office:
Authorized acceptance and final payment to Chandler Business Interiors under contract 08-04-D, crew facility office furnishings. All work under the contract has been completed and determined to meet the bid specifications. (08-227)
Began consideration of standards in the Energy Independence and Security Act of 2007. (08-228)
Authorized letters to and continuation of agreement with U.S. Geological Survey, Water Resources Division, United States Department of the Interior relative to 2008-2009 river-gaging station maintenance and operation costs. The cost of the contract is not to exceed $30,420. (08-229)
Opened bids under bid document 08-21-W, spare transformer relocation for Wells Hydroelectric Project. The apparent low bid was received from Bigge Crane and Rigging Co. of Auburn. The bids will be evaluated prior to a recommendation for contract award.
Opened bids under bid document 08-42-W, moving and storing 230kV GSU power transformer insulating oil for Wells Hydroelectric Project. The apparent low bid was received from Waukesha Electric Systems of Waukesha, WI. The bids will be evaluated prior to a recommendation for contract award.
The next meeting of the Commission is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. September 15, 2008 at the District’s East Wenatchee Headquarters office.
