Douglas County PUD Commissioners Lynn Heminger, Ron Skagen and Jim Davis executed the following actions during the February 11, 2008 Commission meeting held at the Bridgeport office:
Approved change order No. 6 to contract 07-14-D, construction of Pangborn Substation. Changes include increasing hook switch clearance as required by NESC. This change order will increase the not to exceed limit $ 21,150 bringing the total not to exceed limit to $2,790,107. (08-26)
Authorized video transport agreements with television networks. These agreement are required by most networks to receive and transport the signal over the Douglas County Community Network. (08-27)
Authorized acceptance and final payment for all work performed by Summit Environmental Inc. working under contract 07-34-W, auditorium asbestos abatement. All work under the contract has been completed and determined to meet the bid specifications. (08-28)
Set the pole attachment rate for 2008. Staff recommendations were presented to the Commission on November 19, 2007, and the date for public hearing was set for December 17, 2007. All relevant documents were made available on the District website and in hard copy form in the office. (08-29)
The next meeting of the Commission is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. February 19, 2008 at the District’s East Wenatchee Headquarters office.
