Douglas PUD Commission Meeting Report

Douglas County PUD Commissioners Lynn Heminger, Jim Davis and Ron Skagen executed the following actions during the November 19, 2007 Commission Meeting held at the East Wenatchee Headquarters office:

Presented Right-of-Way Representative Dick Weinstein with his thirty-year service award. Commissioner Heminger thanked Dick on behalf of the citizens of Douglas County for his many years of service. Dick thanked the Commission for the recognition.

Authorized acquisition of a utility easement from Lael Vickery. (07-332)

Established a hearing for proposed pole attachment rate formula and resulting rate for December 17, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. in the East Wenatchee Headquarters building. Information can be found by clicking here.  Anyone wishing to comment on the changes may do so in writing prior to that time or by attending the hearing in person.  (07-333)

Approved an agreement with Avista Corporation for purchase and sale of power during 2008. (07-334)

Authorized a rate adjustment for the Professional Services Agreement with Hatch Acres Corporation.  This agreement allows for the fee schedule to be negotiated annually to reflect any increase in the cost of doing business. (07-335)   

Approved amendment No. 1 to the agreement for professional services with EDAW, Inc.  Additional work has been added to the scope of the project increasing the not to exceed limit $15,000 bringing the total not to exceed limit to $115,000. (07-336)

Authorized selection of PowerWorld Corporation for proposal (RFP) 07-37-W, Power System Simulation Software and authorized staff to enter contract negotiations.  (07-337)

Authorized addendum No. 1 to bid document 07-41-W, Twisp River fish trap weir modifications.  The pre-bid conference with potential bidders revealed necessary revisions and clarifications to the bid document. (07-338)
