Douglas County PUD Commissioners Lynn Heminger, Ron Skagen and Jim Davis executed the following actions during the October 15, 2007 Commission meeting held at the East Wenatchee Headquarters building:
Held a hearing regarding changes to administrative rules governing docks and piers in the District’s Land Use Policy.
Authorized change order No. 3 to contract 07-14-D, construction of Pangborn Substation. Changes include increasing bus size to four inch. This change order will increase the not to exceed limit $98,622 bringing the total not to exceed limit to $2,684,296. (07-290)
Approved modifying and reaffirming the use of an alternate bid procedure for procurement of material, equipment or supplies, the contract price of which is greater than $10,000 but less than $50,000. (07-291)
Authorized letters to and continuation of agreement with U.S. Geological Survey, Water Resources Division, United States Department of the Interior relative to river-gaging station maintenance and operation costs. The cost of the contract is not to exceed $29,330. (07-292)
Approved a request for proposals (RFP 07-04-W) from ENSR and the University of Iowa for development of a total dissolved gas model for Wells Dam. (07-293)
The next meeting of the Commission is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. October 22, 2007 at the District’s East Wenatchee Headquarters building.
