Douglas County PUD Commissioners Lynn Heminger, Ron Skagen and Jim Davis executed the following actions during the July 16, 2007 Commission meeting held at the East Wenatchee Headquarters building:
Opened bids submitted for bid document 07-24-D, Sun Cove communication distribution system installation. The apparent low bid was received from Robinson Brothers Construction, Inc. of Vancouver, WA. The bids will be evaluated prior to a recommendation for contract award.
Opened bids submitted for bid document 07-29-W, warehouse and fabrication shop for the Wells Hydroelectric Project. The apparent low bid was received from Garco Construction, Inc. of Spokane. The bids will be evaluated prior to a recommendation for contract award.
Accepted bids received for Douglas PUD surplus items sold by Northwest Auction Service. The auction raised $37,108.80 for Douglas PUD. (07-215)
Amended resolution 07-48 to reflect a name change from Windots, LLC to V-Bar, LLC. (07-216)
Approved the acceptance and final payment for all work performed by Hale and Long, General Contractors, Inc. working under contract 06-17-W, recreational facilities improvements at Memorial Park, Pateros, Washington and Marina Park, Bridgeport Washington. All work under the contract has been completed and determined to meet the bid specifications. (07-217)
Authorized negotiation of contract for two-way radio communication system upgrade for the Wells Hydroelectric Project. (07-218)
Approved an agreement for professional services with Natoma Technologies, Inc. The scope of services under this agreement includes project management, product installation, customization, configuration, operational acceptance and on call tech support related to the Document / Information Management and Collaboration System - Wells Generator Rebuild at a cost not to exceed $26,755. Approved the acceptance of an engagement letter with KPMG LLP for the fiscal year ended August 31, 2007 audit of the Wells Hydroelectric Project. KPMG LLP has provided Douglas PUD with consistent certified public accounting services. (07-220)
The next meeting of the Commission is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. July 23, 2007 at the District’s East Wenatchee Headquarters building.
