Douglas County PUD Commissioners Lynn Heminger, Ron Skagen and Jim Davis executed the following actions during the May 14, 2007 Commission meeting held at the Bridgeport office building:
Awarded Electrical Power Products, Inc. of Des Moines, IA contract 07-16-D, Pangborn Substation control and relay panels. Electrical Power Products, with a bid price of $333,598, was the lowest responsive bidder. (07-147)
Approved a call for bids on bid document 07-25-D, three-phase padmount distribution transformers. With increased price and long lead times, it is beneficial for the District to purchase a 12-month supply of three-phase padmount transformers. (07-148)
Modified land use fees. This resolution will add a fee schedule for pipeline crossings in railroad right-of-way. (07-149)
Authorized wind testing lease and option agreement with Don Love covering 469 acres. (07-150)
Initiated investigations regarding fuel sources and fossil fuel generation efficiency. In order to comply with the Public Utility Regulatory Policies Act of 1978 amended by the Federal Energy Policy Act of 2005, the District must consider standards related to fuel sources and fossil fuel generation efficiency. Rescheduled the May 21, 2007 Commission Meeting to begin at 1:00 p.m.
Rescheduled the May 28, 2007 Commission Meeting to Tuesday, May 29, 2007 due to the Memorial Day Holiday. It will be held at 2:00 p.m. in the East Wenatchee Headquarters Building.
Canceled the regular meeting scheduled for June 25, 2007.
The next meeting of the Commission is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. May 21, 2007 at the District’s East Wenatchee Headquarters building.
