Douglas PUD Commission Meeting Report

Douglas County PUD Commissioners Ron Skagen and Jim Davis executed the following actions during the April 2, 2007 Commission meeting held at the East Wenatchee Headquarters building:

Opened bids submitted for bid document 07-04-D, three small one man bucket units with service bodies. The apparent low bid was received from Altec Industries, Inc. of Dixon, CA. The bids will be evaluated prior to a recommendation for contract award.

Opened bid submitted for bid document 07-13-W, Methow Spring Chinook Hatchery Well No. 5 relocation. The only bid was received from Irrigation Technology and Control Inc. of East Wenatchee. The bid will be evaluated prior to a recommendation for contract award.

Authorized change order No. 2 to Contract 06-02-D, fiber splicing crew, with North Sky Communications. This change order will increase the not to exceed limit $11,275 bringing the total not to exceed limit to $136,275. (07-95)

Authorized a change order No. 2 to contract 06-20-D with T.J.E. L.L.C. for traffic control flagging.  The increased amount of work along State, County and City roadways necessitates a $100,000 increase in the contract bringing the not to exceed limit to $242,000. (07-96)

Extended contract 06-15-D, with Asplundh Tree Expert Co. The contract has an option to extend the agreement an additional year. (07-97)

Approved a call for bids under bid document 07-16-D, Pangborn Substation control and relay panels.  (07-98)

Authorized a request for proposals (07-17-D) for network equipment upgrade.  New equipment is needed to support the Douglas County Community Network. (07-99)

Approved the Hourly Coordination 2006 budget true-up invoice for payment. Douglas PUD’s 14% share of the invoice is $98.50. (07-101)

The next meeting of the Commission is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. April 9, 2007 at the District’s Bridgeport Office building.
