Douglas County PUD Commissioners Mike Doneen, Jim Davis and Lynn Heminger executed the following actions during the November 13, 2006 Commission meeting held at the Bridgeport Office:
Authorized purchase of five surplus modular buildings. These buildings will be used in substations, as a DCCN node and at the Badger Mountain communications facilities. (06-259)
Approved a change order to contract 06-29-D, with G.G. Richardson Inc. for Dutch Henry initial phase construction. The changes involve additional excavation, wire and conduit. This change extends the contract two months and increases the not to exceed amount $9,200 for a total amount of $352,742. (06-260)
Approved a change order to contract 06-37-D, Pangborn 115/13.2 kV substation transformers. The change includes the addition of revenue metering. After this $3,660 change the total contract amount is $2,092,260. (06-261)
Authorized a rate adjustment regarding agreement for professional services with Erlandsen and Associated, Inc. This agreement allows for the fee schedule to be negotiated annually to reflect any increase in the cost of doing business. (06-262)
Authorized a call for bids under bid document 06-42-W, 2007-2008 hatchery well and pump maintenance for the Wells Hydroelectric Project. Scheduled and unscheduled maintenance work needs to be performed in a timely manner and by a qualified contractor. (06-263)
The next meeting of the Commission is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. November 20, 2006 at the District’s East Wenatchee Headquarters building.
