Douglas County PUD Commissioners Mike Doneen, Jim Davis and Lynn Heminger executed the following actions during the October 23, 2006 Commission meeting held at the East Wenatchee Headquarters building:
Authorized acceptance of a 2006 14-yard dump truck provided under contract with Eagle Freightliner. The total cost of the new truck is $126,441.
Authorized a pole attachment license agreement with Charter Communications. This agreement sets forth the terms and conditions under which Charter may attach to the District’s utility poles.
Authorized a call for bids for generator rebuild and unit refurbishment for the Wells Hydroelectric Project. The purpose of this contract is to extend the life of nine generating units at the Wells Project.
Authorized issuance of a request for qualifications for professional engineering services. The purpose of this contract is to acquire necessary engineering expertise for permitting a potential wind project.
The next meeting of the Commission is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. October 30, 2006 at the District’s East Wenatchee Headquarters building.
