Douglas County PUD Commissioners Mike Doneen, Jim Davis and Lynn Heminger executed the following actions during the September 11, 2006 Commission meeting held at the Bridgeport Headquarters building:
Recognized Nancy Van Hoven for 25 years of service to Douglas County PUD. All three Commissioners expressed their appreciation for Nancy’s efforts over the years. Commissioner Doneen, in making the award presentation, stated, ”Dedicated people like you make the Douglas County PUD look good by keeping the lights on and keeping the electric rates low.” Nancy responded by stating how proud she is to work at Douglas PUD. “I am reminded every day how nice it is to work with such great people in such a nice work environment,” she said.
Authorized Change Order No. 1 to Contract 05-10-D with Henkles and McCoy. This change order adds a rate to be paid for underground boring for conduit installation.
Authorized purchase of communication conduit by negotiated contract as allowed by RCW 54.04.080.
Authorized a change in title for Mr. Shane Bickford. Mr. Bickford’s new title is Supervisor of Relicensing.
Established new policies regarding employee reimbursement for use of personal cell phones.
Acting as the Board of the Electric Utility Rural Economic Development Fund, awarded the following grants:
