Douglas County PUD Commissioners Mike Doneen, Jim Davis and Lynn Heminger executed the following actions during the July 17, 2006 Commission meeting held at the East Wenatchee Headquarters building:
Opened bids submitted for bid document 06-36-W, Wells Dam entrance sign. Two bids were received. The apparent low bidder is Hale and Long of East Wenatchee, with a bid of $110,200. The District’s estimate was $100,000. All bids will be evaluated prior to award recommendation.
Authorized acceptance of all work performed by Mogle Excavation, LLC under contract 05-28-D, Bauer’s Landing Conduit System Installation. All work under the contract has been completed and determined to meet the bid specifications.
Approved an agreement for professional services with Robert Bugert as Chairperson of the Wells Habitat Conservation Plan Tributary Committee. This three-year contract is not to exceed $100,000.
Accepted bids received for Douglas PUD surplus items sold by Northwest Auction Service and authorized disposal of the items not sold. The auction raised $64,216.80 for Douglas PUD.
Declared certain real property surplus and authorized the sale of Wells Tract 680 to Doug and Dorothy Porter.
Authorized advertisement for consulting engineering services for the Wells Hydroelectric Project. In order to maintain proper maintenance of the Wells Hydroelectric Project, the District needs to retain a consulting engineer for providing immediate and continuous engineering counsel.
