Douglas County PUD Commissioners Mike Doneen, Jim Davis and Lynn Heminger executed the following actions during the May 15, 2006 Commission meeting held at the East Wenatchee Headquarters building:
Opened the bid submitted for bid document 06-21-D, asphalt concrete repair and installation. One bid was received for the contract from Moe Asphalt Patching and Sealcoating, Inc. of Wenatchee, with a bid of $272,798. The District’s estimate was $252,000. The bid will be evaluated prior to award recommendation.
Opened bids submitted for bid document 06-22-W, Wells Dam 1,000, 2,000 and 3,750 kVA 14.4 kV / 480V Distribution and small power transformers. The District’s estimate was $240,000. All bids will be evaluated prior to award recommendation.
Declared District computers and related equipment surplus to the District’s needs and authorized sale to Serve Wenatchee Valley. Serve Wenatchee Valley has agreed to pay $125 for the used computers and related equipment. (06-116)
Authorized acceptance of EPR underground primary cable materials received from WESCO Distributing, Inc. under bid document 06-09-D. Staff has inspected and tested the reels of EPR underground primary cable and found all of the delivered cable to be in full compliance with the bid document. (06-117)
Approved acceptance of a subdivision power facilities agreement for Peach Haven Estates, Inc., Phase two. The developer, Steve Shank, has paid the Contribution in Aid of Construction and provided a cash deposit in the total amount of $59,742. (06-118)
Approved a request for qualifications for website design and implementation. The District has a need to update the website as demand for online functionality increases. (06-119)
Established a new administrative position of Administrative Assistant – Environmental and Regulatory Services (EARS). (06-120)
Rescheduled the May 29th Commission Meeting to Tuesday, May 30th due to the Memorial Day Holiday. It will be held at 2 p.m. in the East Wenatchee Headquarters Building.
