Douglas County PUD Commissioners Mike Doneen, Jim Davis and Lynn Heminger executed the following actions during the January 17, 2006 Commission meeting held at the East Wenatchee Headquarters building:
Opened bids submitted for Bid Document 05-33-W, Environmental and Regulatory Services department interior revisions. Two bids were received. The apparent low bidder is Hale and Long of East Wenatchee, with a bid of $18,100. The District’s estimate was $21,000. All bids will be evaluated prior to award recommendation.
Opened bids submitted for Bid Document 06-04-W, Headquarters chiller replacement. Four bids were received. The apparent low bidder is Glenrose Plumbing and Heating of Spokane, with a bid of $145,000. The District’s estimate was $144,000. All bids will be evaluated prior to award recommendation.
Authorized the acceptance for all work performed by Underground Specialties, LLC. to provide Douglas PUD with Shared Access Ethernet Fiber Underground Pilot Project Construction. All work has been completed and determined to meet the contract specifications. (06-22)
Declared the Canon NP 6030 copier surplus and authorized disposal. (06-23)
Authorized a call for bids under bid document 06-08-D 144 count fiber optic cable. To meet 2006 construction goals for the Douglas County Community Network, the District needs to purchase 53,000 feet of 144 count fiber optic cable. (06-24)
Authorized acceptance and final payment to Corrigan’s Spray Service under contract for grounds maintenance for the Wells Hydroelectric Project. All work has been completed and determined to meet the contract specifications. (06-25)
Approved a reimbursement resolution for Douglas County PUD. This resolution will allow the District to reimburse certain capital costs with the proceeds of Clean Renewable Energy Bonds. (06-26)
