Douglas County PUD Commissioners Mike Doneen, Jim Davis and Lynn Heminger executed the following actions during the December 12, 2005 Commission meeting held at the Bridgeport Office building:
Approved the acceptance of all work performed by Pole Maintenance Company under the second year of a contract to provide Douglas County PUD with pole testing and treating. All work under the contract has been completed and determined to meet the bid specifications. (05-275)
Authorized termination of joint pole use agreement with Verizon Northwest.
Authorized the renewal of excess liability insurance coverage with AEGIS Insurance Service, Inc. The renewal premium of $279,114 reflects a decrease of $2,217 from 2005, due to market conditions. (05-276)
Authorized a renewal with Liberty Mutual Insurance Company for Commercial General Liability, Washington Stop Gap and Commercial Automobile Liability Coverage with a renewal premium of $148,032. (05-277)
Approved a contract with Trenchless Construction for directional drilling through a railroad/roadway embankment for the Wells Hydroelectric Project. The contract is not to exceed $31,400. (05-278)
Authorized Task Order No. 2 services for the Master Consulting Services Agreement with MWH Americas, Inc. with regard to the Wells Hydroelectric Project. The services in Task Order No. 2 include design, review and construction management support at a not to exceed limit of $500,000. (05-279)
