Douglas County PUD Commissioners Mike Doneen, Jim Davis, and Lynn Heminger executed the following actions during the July 18, 2005 Commission meeting held at the East Wenatchee Headquarters building:
Opened bids to provide Douglas PUD with a Headquarters chiller replacement. One bid was received for the contract from W.A. Botting of Woodinville, WA with a bid price of $149,395. The District’s estimate was $83,000. The bid will be evaluated prior to award recommendation.
Authorized a change order for the contract with Moe Asphalt and Sealcoating, Inc. to provide Douglas County PUD with asphalt repair and installation. This resolution will increase the not to exceed limit to $175,000 and extend the terms of the contract through December 31, 2005. (05-167)
Approved negotiation of an agreement for engineering services with Varela and Associates, Inc. of Spokane regarding the Withrow Water System Community Block Grant. (05-168)
Approved the acceptance and final payment for all work performed by G.L. Palm to provide Douglas PUD with modifications to the Twisp River Weir / Sill. All work has been completed and determined to meet the contract specifications. (05-169)
Approved an amendment to the agreement for professional services with Eureka Software, Inc. for the development of the public relicensing website. This resolution will increase the not to exceed level to $38,000 allowing for finalization of website, staff training and technical support. (05-170)
Authorized an addendum to the bid document to provide a communication system upgrade at the Wells Hydroelectric Project. After further review, it was determined that changes and clarifications to the bid document are necessary. (05-171)
