Douglas PUD Commission Meeting Report

Douglas County PUD Commissioners Mike Doneen, Jim Davis, and Lynn Heminger executed the following actions during the March 14, 2005 Commission meeting held at the Bridgeport office building:

Authorized acceptance of all work performed by Wilson Construction under the second year of a contract to provide Douglas PUD a distribution dock crew. All work under the contract has been completed and determined to meet the bid specifications. (05-58)

Authorized a call for bids to provide Douglas PUD with wood poles for the China Creek Project. (05-59)

Approved the execution of an agreement with A.W. Rehn Associates for the Consolidated Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act (COBRA) administrative services. (05-60)

Authorized an agreement for professional services with Western Shore Heritage Services with regard to relicensing the Wells Hydroelectric Project. The scope of services under this agreement includes on-call cultural resource expertise for the relicensing process and for ongoing license compliance activities at a cost not to exceed $100,000. (05-61)

Approved an agreement for professional services with MWH Americas, Inc with regard to relicensing the Wells Hydroelectric Project. The scope of services under this agreement includes document management and collaboration website for the relicensing of the Wells Hydroelectric Project at a cost not to exceed $88,860. (05-62)

Authorized an agreement for professional services with Iris Power Engineering. This resolution authorizes Iris Power Engineers to assist the District as it assesses the integrity of generator windings at the Wells Project. (05-63)

Authorized an agreement for professional services with GeoEngineers with regard to relicensing the Wells Hydroelectric Project. The scope of services under this agreement includes providing on-call Geographic Information System (GIS) mapping support, geologic and geotechnical services, and bathymetric mapping services for the relicensing process and ongoing license compliance activities at a cost not to exceed $165,000. Establish a hearing on March 28, 2005 regarding changes to Rate Schedule 6, Wholesale Communication Services. The hearing will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. at the East Wenatchee Headquarters.
