Douglas PUD Commission Meeting Report

Douglas County PUD Commissioners Mike Doneen, Jim Davis, and Lynn Heminger executed the following actions during the February 28, 2005 Commission meeting held at the East Wenatchee Headquarters building:

Amended the initial cost to the District for NoaNet Network Operation Center and support services. (05-47)

Authorized a change order for the contract with Tunnel Hill Granite to perform excavating services for the Wells Hydroelectric Project for 2004-2005. The change covers equipment rates necessary for forebay debris removal. (05-48)

Approved an agreement for professional services with Columbia Research of Chelan for the 2005-2007 pikeminnow removal program for the Wells Hydroelectric Project. The contract is not to exceed $125,000. (05-49)

Authorized an agreement for professional services with Devine, Tarbell and Associates, Inc. with regard to relicensing the Wells Hydroelectric Project. The scope of services under this agreement includes assisting District staff with the development of relicensing documents and the completion of relicensing studies at a cost not to exceed $500,000. (05-50)

Approved an agreement for professional services with EDAW Inc. with regard to relicensing the Wells Hydroelectric Project. The scope of services under this agreement includes assisting District staff with the development of relicensing documents and the completion of relicensing studies at a cost not to exceed $350,000. (05-51)

Authorized an agreement for professional services with EES Consulting with regard to relicensing the Wells Hydroelectric Project. The scope of services under this agreement includes assisting District staff with the development of relicensing documents and the completion of relicensing studies at a cost not to exceed $350,000. (05-52)

Awarded ITT Pro Service of Salt Lake City, Utah the contract to provide Douglas PUD with turbine guide bearing refurbishment for the Wells Hydroelectric Project. ITT, with a bid price of $97,500, was the lowest responsive bidder. (05-53)

Authorized settlement with Fidelity Title Insurance Company in regard to potential title insurance claims. (05-54)

Reinstated the previously canceled March 7, 2005 Commission Meeting. It will be held at 2:00 p.m. in the East Wenatchee Headquarters Building.
