Douglas County PUD Commissioners Jim Davis, Lynn Heminger and Mike Doneen executed the following actions during the May 3, 2004 Commission meeting held at the East Wenatchee Headquarters building:
Awarded Terex Utilities West of Seattle the contract to provide Douglas PUD with a non-overcenter aerial manlift with 25 foot hydraulic lift. Terex Utilities West, with a bid price of $126,370, was the lowest responsive bidder. (04-86)
Authorized a change order for the contract with Hale and Long, General Contractors to supply Douglas PUD with a headquarters addition. The changes include the addition of dispatch center equipment and consoles, replacement of existing courtyard windows with thermally improved structures, and the addition of new controls and support structures for east and west warehouse yard gates. The cost of the changes is $441,214.17, raising the total project cost from $3,762,428 to $4,2032,642.93. (04-87)
Awarded Tunnel Hill Granite, LLC, of Chelan the contract to provide Douglas PUD with excavation services for the Wells Hydroelectric Project. Tunnel Hill Granite, LLC, with a bid price of $280,700, was the lowest responsive bidder. (04-88)
Awarded Thompson Metal Fab, Inc., Vancouver, WA the contract to provide Douglas PUD with a removable bulkhead for the Wells Hydroelectric Project. Thompson Metal Fab, Inc., with a bid price of $111,890, was the lowest responsive bidder. (04-89)
Established a new administrative position of Administrative Assistant – Wells Project Relicensing. This position will maintain the relicensing library of documents and provide administrative support to the Wells Project relicensing team. (04-90)
Canceled the regular meeting scheduled for May 17, 2003 due to other Commissioner commitments. A bid opening scheduled for that date will be conducted in public by District staff.
