Douglas County PUD Commissioners Jim Davis, Lynn Heminger and Mike Doneen executed the following actions during the March 8, 2004 Commission meeting held at the Bridgeport Office:
Opened bids to provide Douglas PUD with two 115 kV breakers for the Terry Substation. There were three bids received for the contract with bid prices ranging from $102,714 to $109,720. The lowest bid was received from Western States Electric of Portland. Estimated to cost $130,000, all bids will be evaluated prior to recommendation.
Awarded McCandlish Electric, Inc. of Wenatchee, a contract to provide Douglas PUD with traffic control flagging. McCandlish Electric, with a bid price of $105,750, was the only responsive bidder. (04-39)
Authorized a call for bids to provide Douglas PUD with clamming services for the Wells Hydroelectric Project. To maintain efficient and safe operations of the Wells Hydroelectric Project, the District requires clamming services to remove accumulated debris from the reservoir and tailrace. (04-40)
