Douglas County PUD Commissioners Jim Davis, Lynn Heminger and Mike Doneen executed the following actions during the January 26, 2004 Commission meeting held at the East Wenatchee Headquarters building:
Opened bids to provide Douglas PUD with two 115 kV Breakers for the Terry Substation. There were four bids received for the contract with bid prices ranging from $102,670 to $110,495. The lowest bid was received from Siemens of Jackson, Mississippi. Estimated to cost $130,000, all bids will be evaluated prior to recommendation.
Approved a call for bids to provide Douglas PUD with a 4X4 loader backhoe and 20 ton tilt trailer. The loader backhoe will be used for construction and maintenance of the Electric Distribution System. (04-16)
Authorized a change order for the contract with Hale and Long, General Contractors to supply Douglas PUD with a headquarters addition. The changes cover access floor power and data cable trays in four areas, data conduits and revision of mechanical equipment circuit breakers. The cost of all the changes is $49,722.38, raising the total project cost from $3,642,508 to $3,692,230. (04-17)
Established a new administrative position of Special Projects Assistant. This position will assist in preparation for the Wells Project relicensing. (04-18)
