Douglas PUD Commission Meeting Report

Douglas County PUD Commissioners Lynn Heminger and Mike Doneen executed the following actions during the July 28, 2003 Commission meeting held at the East Wenatchee Headquarters building:

Presented Rose Dahlin, Dan Day, Burt Duncan, and Randy Mundt with their NWPPA Front Line Leadership Credential trophies and pins. These four individuals completed a series of classes concerning Situational Leadership, Leadership Challenges, Personalities and Attitudes, and Human Resources, The Law and Time Management.

Approved the acceptance of all second year work performed by McCandlish Electric, Inc. working under contract to provide Douglas County with miscellaneous conduit, vaults, electrical and concrete work. All work under the contract has been completed and determined to meet the bid specifications. (03-120)

Authorized the acceptance of all second year work performed by Wilson Construction working under contract to provide Douglas County with a Distribution Dock Crew. All work under the contract has been completed and determined to meet the bid specifications. (03-121)

Approved the acceptance of all work performed by G. G. Richardson Inc. working under contract to provide Douglas County with a Transformer Storage Area. All work under the contract has been completed and determined to meet the bid specifications. (03-122)

Authorized acceptance of EPR underground primary cable materials received. Staff has inspected and tested the reels of EPR underground primary cable and found all of the delivered cable to be in full compliance with the bid document. (03-123)

Awarded Moe Asphalt Patching and Sealcoating, Inc. of East Wenatchee, the contract to provide Douglas PUD with asphalt repair and installation. Moe Asphalt, with a bid price of $105,000, was the lowest responsive bidder. (03-124)

Awarded Picatti Brothers, Inc. of Union Gap, the contract to provide Douglas PUD withhatchery well and pump maintenance. Picatti Brothers, with a bid price of $217,474, was the lowest responsive bidder. (03-125)

Accepted bids received for Douglas PUD surplus items sold by Northwest Auction Service. Vehicles, tools, welding equipment, and other items were auctioned. The auction raised $37,088.55 for Douglas PUD. (03-126)
