Douglas County PUD Commissioners Jim Davis, Lynn Heminger and Mike Doneen executed the following actions during the July 21, 2003 Commission meeting held at the East Wenatchee Headquarters building:
Opened bids to provide Douglas PUD with Hatchery well and pump maintenance for the Wells Hydroelectric Project. There were three bids received for the contract with bid prices ranging from $217,474 to $248,652. The apparent low bid was received from Picatti Brothers, of Union Gap. Estimated to cost $234,000, all bids will be evaluated prior to award recommendation.
Opened bids to provide Douglas PUD with asphalt repair and installation. There were three bids received for the contract with bid prices ranging from $105,000 to $258,500. The apparent low bid was received from MAP of East Wenatchee. Estimated to cost $143,500, all bids will be evaluated prior to award recommendation.
Approved the execution of a change order for the contract with GG Richardson to provide Douglas PUD with the Doneen Substation civil construction. The change covers drainage corrections, weed control fabric in the landscaping, vinyl coated wire and gate covering, and the elimination of culverts at the driveway entrances. The cost of this change order is a net reduction of $6,612. (03-117)
Authorized retirement of networking equipment and sale to the North Central ESD. The network router is surplus to Douglas PUD’s needs. The fair market value is $1,000. (03-118)
Approved an agreement for professional services with Pacific Appraisal Services. To protect the Wells Project Boundary and meet the property policies of the District, additional property acquisition may be required as the District continues its effort to resurvey the boundary. Pacific Appraisals has been providing appraisal services to Douglas PUD over the past six years and will provide continuity to the project. (03-119)
