Douglas PUD Commission Meeting Report

Douglas County PUD Commissioners Lynn Heminger, Mike Doneen and Jim Davis executed the following actions during the December 30, 2002 Commission meeting held at the East Wenatchee Headquarters building:

Approved a change in the District’s travel reimbursement policy to reflect changes in the Internal Revenue Service approved mileage rate for 2003. (02-264)

Authorized antenna site license agreements for radio communications sites with Day Wireless Systems. These agreements will allow Douglas PUD to continue using Lower Badger Mountain and Moses Stool radio sites at the cost of $425 per month. (02-265)

Approved the amendment and restatement of the District’s 401(A) deferred compensation plan. The Economic Growth and Tax Reconciliation Act of 2001 made changes to the federal tax regulations that affect the District’s 401(A) deferred compensation plan. This resolution will make the District’s deferred compensation plan in accord with the tax law changes.(02-266)

Authorized a construction contract change order to allow G.G. Richardson, Inc., the contractor on the District’s new transformer storage facility, to modify an existing structure at a cost of $131,555. The modified existing structure will be used for equipment storage. (02-267)

Authorized an Architectural Service Agreement addendum in the amount of $35,000 for additional architectural and engineering services provided by The DOH Associates, P.S. in completing the Warehouse Facilities expansion project. (02-268)
