Douglas County PUD Commissioners Lynn Heminger, Mike Doneen and Jim Davis executed the following actions during the October 14, 2002 Commission meeting held at the Bridgeport office:
Authorized acceptance of a subdivision power facilities agreement for Aspen Shores subdivision, phase II and III. The developer, South Slope Shores, LLC, has paid the Contribution in Aid of Construction and provided a secured funds account in the amount of $26,601. (02-208)
Approved the purchase of general ledger software from Best Enterprise, Inc. Douglas PUD needs to replace the existing business program. Seven financial applications were evaluated by District staff who found Best Enterprise to be the application that will meet Douglas PUD’s requirements. The cost of the general ledger application is $54,500. (02-209)
Authorized the negotiated settlement and execution of “Amendment to and Reservation of Irrigation/Pipeline Easements” regarding Wells Tract 725. Douglas PUD will purchase a portion of Wells Tract 725 for $2,500 from Crane and Crane, Inc. (02-211)
Reminded those present that the next Commission meeting will be October 21 at 1:00 p.m. at the East Wenatchee Headquarters and will include a public hearing on the District’s Integrated Resource Planning Study 2002 Update.
