Douglas County PUD Commissioners Lynn Heminger, Mike Doneen and Jim Davis executed the following actions during the June 3, 2002 Commission meeting held at the East Wenatchee Headquarters building:
Opened bids to provide Douglas PUD with an aerial manlift. There were two bids received for the contract with bid prices ranging from $52,264 to $64,099. The apparent low bid was received from All Tech Incorporated from Dixon, CA. The District’s estimate was $75,000. All bids will be evaluated prior to award recommendation.
Authorized a wind testing lease and option agreement with one property owner covering 40 acres for an annual payment of $94. Douglas PUD now has 150 wind testing lease and option agreements covering over 77,000 acres.
Awarded American Building Maintenance of Kennewick the contract to provide Douglas PUD with building maintenance for the East Wenatchee Headquarters Facility. American Building Maintenance, with a bid price of $2,612 .65 per month, was the only bidder.
Awarded Star Rentals and Sales of Wenatchee the contract to provide Douglas PUD with a self-propelled, boom supported, elevating work platform. Star Rentals and Sales, with a bid price of $42,227.60, was the lowest responsive bidder.
Authorized an amendment to the contract with Accent Business Services. Douglas PUD is in the process of purchasing an integrated purchasing, inventory and accounts payable system. Accent Business Services has assisted in the evaluation of software products. The amendment will extend support into leading negotiations and monthly oversight during implementation of selected products. This amendment will set the not to exceed total at $50,000. Reminded those in attendance the June 10, 2002 Commission Meeting is canceled.
