Douglas County PUD Commissioners Lynn Heminger, Mike Doneen and Jim Davis executed the following actions during the May 13, 2002 Commission meeting held at the Bridgeport Office:
Authorized a telecommunications infrastructure usage agreement with Chelan County PUD. This agreement will allow Douglas PUD and Chelan County PUD to exchange communication infrastructure and services as needed. The result will be savings to the public and better service to the needs of each District.
Approved a Call for bids to provide Douglas PUD with an aerial manlift. This manlift will be installed on a new cab and chassis vehicle recently purchased and used for maintenance of Douglas PUD’s distribution electrical system.
Declared General Electric the sole source provider of multiplexer equipment and authorized purchase of two multiplexing equipment sets for Wells Hydroelectric Project and Douglas Switchyard. In a previous agreement with Bonneville Power Administration (BPA) and Chelan County PUD, BPA specified the manufacturer and model of multiplexer each District is to purchase and use. The cost of the two multiplexing equipment sets is not to exceed $26,000.
Approved a change order to the implementation of a photovoltaic power generation system contract with Power City Electric, and acceptance of all work performed. This change order is in the amount of $100 for the LCD display on the Sunny Boy Inverter. All work under the contract has been completed and determined to meet the bid specifications.
