The lowest bid was received from Wesco of Portland, OR. The District’s estimate was $241,950. All bids will be evaluated prior to award recommendation.

Opened bids to provide Douglas PUD with installation of single-phase underground primary. There were six bids received for the contract with bid prices ranging from $425,780 to $233,431. The lowest bid was received Evergreen Contractors Inc. of Woodinville, WA. The District’s estimate was $117,048. All bids will be evaluated prior to a recommendation.

Opened bids to provide Douglas PUD with grounds maintenance services for East Wenatchee and Wells Dam. There was one bid received for the contract from Wright’s Lawn Service of East Wenatchee with a bid price of $220,841. The District’s estimate was $246,000. The bid will be evaluated prior to award recommendation.

Authorized acceptance of ADSS Fiber-Optic cable materials received. Staff has inspected and tested the reels of ADSS fiber optic cable and found all of the delivered cable to be in full compliance with the bid document.

Approved a release of utility easement on property owned by Mr. Kyle Wilfong. Internal review of the utility easement termination request found Douglas PUD has no further interest in the property located on Bridgeport Bar. Authorized an agreement with Chelan County PUD for a fiber-optic cable interconnection between Rocky Reach Switchyard and Douglas Switchyard. Replacing aging copper wires with fiber optic cable will reduce electrostatic interferences within and between these electric switchyards.
