Douglas County PUD Commissioners Jim Davis, Molly Simpson and Ron Skagen executed the following actions during the May 23, 2016 Commission meeting held at the District's Bridgeport office:
Revised schedule 6 of the Electric Distribution System Customer Service Policies. This revision would reduce the Gigabit Ethernet rate to meet the changing business needs of the DCCN. (16-082)
Approved naming custodian for East Wenatchee Revolving Fund after retirement of previous custodian. (16-083)
Authorized renewal of contract 14-09-D, provide traffic control services with Cascade Cable Constructors, Inc. for an additional year as allowed by contract. This will extend the contract to June 30, 2017 and the total dollar amount will not exceed $250,000. (16-084)
Approved change order No. 1 to contract 16-05-D, supply and deliver bus support steel for the Veedol Substation. This change reduces the materials in the scope of work, decreasing the not-to-exceed cost $9,283 for a total contract cost of $174,668. (16-085)
Authorized acceptance of work and final payment to Pacific Pile and Marine under contract 15-19-W, Methow Boat Launch maintenance dredging. All work under the contract has been completed and determined to meet the bid specifications. (16-086)
Approved amendment No. 1 to professional service agreement with the Colville Confederated Tribes for on-call archaeological services. This amendment will extend the agreement to January 31, 2019 and increase the not-to exceed limit to $125,000. (16-087)
Authorized a universal data sharing agreement with the District's North American Electric Reliability Corporation Reliability Coordinator, Peak Reliability, Inc. Necessary for entities that perform reliability functions. (16-088)
Expressed appreciation to Congressman Dave Reichert for his role in amending the Internal Revenue Code to restore flexibility for Voluntary Employees' Beneficiary Association participants. (16-089)
Rescheduled the June 13th Commission meeting to June 6th due to Commission schedule conflicts.
The next meeting of the Commission is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. June 6, 2016 at the District's East Wenatchee office.
