Douglas County PUD Commissioners Lynn Heminger, Ron Skagen and Jim Davis executed the following actions during the April 14, 2014 Commission meeting held at the District's Bridgeport office:
Approved addendum No. 6 under 1996 Operating and Services Agreement dated September 23, 1996 with Okanogan County PUD. This addendum will modernize the agreement to reflect the actual labor costs and impacts to District operations.(14-042)
Authorized revising Schedule 6 of the Electric Distribution System Customer Service Policies to meet the changing business needs of the District's Douglas County Community Network. (14-043)
Approved a call for bids under bid document 14-03-W, modernize five passenger elevators at the Wells Hydroelectric Project. (14-044)
Authorized change order No. 35 to contract 06-41-W, generator rebuild for unit refurbishment for the Wells Hydroelectric Project. Changes include installation of stay vane extensions on all ten units to achieve increased generating efficiency as predicted by turbine model testing. These changes will increases the contract amount by $6,077,500 bringing the total not to exceed limit to $161,500,710. (14-045)
Approved amendment No. 1 to professional service agreement with the Colville Confederated Tribes. This amendment will extend the completion date to August 31, 2014 to allow for completing lab analyses and preparation of report. (14-046)
The next meeting of the Commission is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. April 21, 2014 at the District's East Wenatchee office.
