Douglas County PUD Commissioners Lynn Heminger, Ron Skagen and Jim Davis executed the following actions during the March 24, 2014 Commission meeting held at the District's East Wenatchee office:
Opened bids under bid document 14-04-D, East Wenatchee warehouse roof membrane replacement. The apparent low bid was received from M. Vail Company of East Wenatchee. The bids will be evaluated prior to a recommendation for contract award.
Authorized a call for bids under bid document 14-05-D, supply and deliver 4/0 and 750 kcmil EPR primary Underground Cable to restock inventory. (14-031)
Approved renewal of contract 13-11-D, provide distribution dock crew services with Magnum Power for an additional one-year period. (14-032)
Authorized renewal of contract 13-12-D, provide distribution tree trimming services with Asplundh Tree Experts for an additional one-year period. (14-033)
Authorized change order No. 4 to Task Order No. 4 under the Master Consulting Services Agreement with MWH Americas Inc. Task Order No. 4 authorizes engineering administration, design review, construction management support and other services related to the Toshiba International Corporation contract to rebuild the generators and refurbish the turbines on Wells Hydroelectric Project generating Units 1 through 10. Change order No. 4 increases the not-to-exceed amount $400,000. This change order was necessary to provide for continuing services by MWH. (14-034)
