Douglas County PUD Commissioners Lynn Heminger, Ron Skagen and Jim Davis executed the following actions during the November 12, 2013 Commission meeting held at the District's Bridgeport office:
Awarded Project Electrical Foremen Steve Babcock with his twenty year service award. Commissioner Heminger thanked Steve on behalf of the citizens of Douglas County for his years of service. Steve thanked the Commission and talked a little about work he was doing at area substations.
Approved change order No.1 to contract 13-13-D, pole testing and treating services. This change will extend the completion date to December 31, 2013. (13-175)
Authorized change order No. 1 to contract 13-16-D, perform on-site battery testing services. This change will extend the completion date to November 22, 2013. (13-176)
Approved Generation Dropping and Remedial Action Scheme Agreement. The agreement will limit the liability of the District for performing generation dropping actions as part of Western Electricity Coordinating Council Remedial Action Scheme. (13-177)
The next meeting of the Commission is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. November 18, 2013 at the District's East Wenatchee office.
