The Douglas County Community Network (DCCN) is a high-speed, broadband network designed for Douglas County PUD’s electric needs. This network enables Douglas PUD to safely and effectively monitor and control its electric system. An added benefit to Douglas County residents is the growing availability of high-speed broadband service delivery.
DCCN is a packet-switched network using the Internet Protocol (IP) network standard. IP technology enables DCCN to use a variety of delivery methods including wired and wireless. Services provided on the DCCN include Internet, IP Phone and TV is coming soon.
DCCN has over 1,000 connections all around the county! The service area continues to grow. Please visit the DCCN website for more information and to see if you are in a serviceable area.
