Douglas County PUD Commissioners Jim Davis and Lynn Heminger executed the following actions during the September 7, 2004 Commission meeting held at the East Wenatchee Headquarters building:
Opened bids to provide Douglas PUD with Eastmont Substation oil containment. There were two bids received for the contract with bid prices at $ 22,824 and $34,400. The apparent low bid was received from Pipkin Construction of East Wenatchee. Estimated to cost $41,700, all bids will be evaluated prior to recommendation.
Opened bids to provide Douglas PUD with electrical modifications and additions to Memorial Park, Pateros, Washington. There were four bids received for the contract with bid prices ranging from $29,870 to $43,750. The apparent low bid was received from KB Electric of Wenatchee. Estimated to cost $28,500, all bids will be evaluated prior to recommendation.
Awarded Prince Telecom of Kent, WA the contract to provide customer connection installation on the Shared Access Ethernet Fiber Pilot Project. Prince Telecom, with a bid price of $13,200, was the lowest responsive bidder. (04-188)
Authorized an agreement with Bonneville Power Administration regarding information provided in weekly treaty flow agreements between the U.S. and Canadian Entities. (04-189)
